Christian M. Rojas
Associate Professor of Chemistry
Christian M. Rojas is Associate Professor of Chemistry at Barnard College in New York City. He received his B.A. in chemistry from the University of Virginia in 1989 and a Ph.D. from Indiana University in 1995. After a National Institutes of Health post-doctoral fellowship at MIT and The Scripps Research Institute, Professor Rojas began his independent career at Barnard, where his research involves developing new nitrogen-atom transfer methods for the synthesis of 2-amino sugars. He teaches both beginning and advanced organic chemistry lecture and laboratory courses.
