Bill Bromer has taught Botany, Ecology, Earth Science, Environmental Science, and Biology courses at the University of St. Francis since 1992 and he is currently Co-Chair of the Natural Sciences Department. He has been active in the Associated Colleges of the Chicago Area (ACCA) and has been the director of the ACCA Student Symposium for the last three years. Bill and his students have been busy investigating the water quality of the streams and ponds around Joliet and Will County. He also has begun a preliminary investigation to better understand teaching pedagogies that might help dispel some of the misconceptions that students have about science.
