Description:

A national network (based on volunteers from PKAL, CUR, etc. mailing lists) of people interested in supporting one-another's grant writing. Members can be sorted by region, discipline, and speciality. Would include web directory and resource links, and listserve to allow queries to the group. Regional component could facilitate search for local funding opportunities and possibly cooperation/collaboration on regionally-based projects.

Provide electronic network to help faculty write grants by providing contacts of successful grant writers, regional connections to share equipment, and for new or different funding sources. The webpage could provide listings of information for grantwriting workshops or publications. Faculty could communicate through the listserve by requesting information on successful grants, requesting reviews before submission, and to set up meetings.
