Senior academic officers

The senior academic officer has many roles to play in the work of reforming and transforming undergraduate programs in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) in ways that serve the institutional purpose. The senior academic officer facilitates and negotiates, persuades and supports, and argues wisely on behalf of student learning. The responsibility of the senior academic administrators is to use the influence of the office to accomplish objectives - consistent with institutional priorities - that individual faculty or departments could not achieve on their own.
