All Project Kaleidoscope (PKAL) activities are designed to build institutional teams informed about and committed to strengthening the science/mathematics programs for which they are responsible. The ideal team includes one administrator with budget/curriculum development responsibilities, as well as a balanced contingent of junior and senior faculy. Architects and individuals from institutions, without a team, are also welcome to participate.

Registration is online. Teams are to register together. The extended deadline is Monday, May 21; after the deadline, registrations will be accepted as space permits. Registration will be confirmed by email.

Seminar Fees & Billing Deferment

The registration fee for the 2007 PKAL Facilities Seminar is $150 per person. The fee includes event materials, admission to sessions and meals; the Summer Institute fee is additional. After the Facilities Seminar, an invoice for participation will be mailed to the team leader (first person listed on the registration form). Project Kaleidoscope accepts payment by check or credit card (Visa or Mastercard only). Participants are responsible for the cost of lodging and travel.

Billing Deferment Option: PKAL recognizes that the Facilities Seminar straddles fiscal years for many institutions. If you would prefer being billed in July to accommodate the new fiscal year, please let us know.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be made in writing to Project Kaleidoscope at applications@pkal.org. Full refunds will be provided to those who cancel by 5:00 pm Eastern on Tuesday, June 5. Cancellations received after this date will not receive a refund. Full registration fees will be charged for "no-shows" (no refunds will be given). Registrations are transferable within an institution. Participants are responsible for making the necessary cancellations concerning hotel and travel arrangements.
