Beloit College is a small (1,200 full-time students), four year, residential liberal arts college located in Beloit, Wisconsin -- about 100 miles northwest of Chicago. The campus is located within a few blocks of downtown Beloit, with easy access to restaurants and stores, including a farmer's market on Saturday mornings.
Workshop registration and sessions will take place in the new Beloit College Center for Science.

Workshop concludes: 10:30 am
Workshop participants have two housing options – either campus dormitory housing or local hotels (Beloit Inn and Holiday Inn Express). Dorm room rates are $23 per night and hotel room rates range from $87 - $134 per night/plus tax. Upon workshop acceptance, teams will be notified with more housing details.
Participants are responsible for travel to/from and throughout the workshop. Those with campus lodging and staying at the Beloit Inn will be within walking distance of the workshop sessions; those staying at the Holiday Inn will need cars.
From I-90, South Beloit exit:
Drive west to the third stoplight (at the intersection with Park Avenue), passing by the Ramada Inn and the antiques mall. Turn right onto Park Avenue, and drive north through two stoplights, continuing up the hill until you reach Chapin Street. Turn left (west) on Chapin Street, and you'll see Middle College two blocks ahead. Drive on Chapin until it intersects with College Street, and park.
From I-43/Hwy 81 exit off I-90:
I-43 ends and becomes Milwaukee Road. Follow into Beloit (due west, past Walmart and Staples), cross the railroad tracks, and veer left (at the "Y" in the road) to remain on Milwaukee Road. Follow (southwest) to Chapin Street, where you turn right. Middle College is about six blocks ahead.
Coming in Hwy. 81 from west:
Follow Hwy. 81 signs across the Rock River. Make first turn to the right (south) on Pleasant Street. Turn left (east) on Bushnell Street, followed by a left (north) at College Street.
Event dress is casual.
