Coming together across communities to transform undergraduate STEM education

Vision
F21 members will be working in partnerships, collaboration, and networks of colleagues across disciplinary, institutional, and sector boundaries to make progress towards systemic improvements in undergraduate STEM learning and teaching.

Coming together to:
  • Build collegial curricular connections within their home campus community: cross/interdisciplinary programs
  • Focus on student learning: mentoring; theories of learning
  • Connect beyond their home campus community: K-16 connections; two/four-year college connections; international connections; Washington DC connections
  • Work toward institutional transformation: learning communities; faculty development; facilities development;
    roles & responsibilities of deans & chairs.
