2007 PKAL Summer Institute
Focusing on leadership, student learning & institutional transformation

June 13 - 16, 2007

Participating teams and design professionals are invited to present a poster illustrating their experiences toward achieving sustainable institutional transformation. These posters will be spotlighted in the main assembly area during the entire Institute, an opportunity for participants to connect to and learn from colleagues pursuing similar objectives and overcoming common barriers to change.

Poster Registration

To display a poster, RSVP to applications@pkal.org by Tuesday, June 5. Poster boards, easels and push pins will be provided to confirmed entries. If bringing your own posterboard, please indicate this in the email confirmation.

Poster Guidelines

Each poster entry should have a title box that includes

  • Author
  • Title & Department
  • Institution
  • Email
  • Vision for the future

Each poster should then describe:

  • the process by which the vision was shaped, including barriers or roadblocks to overcome
  • who was/is involved in the process
  • how resources were identified and secured
  • what difference these efforts are making for students, and how you know.

Sample Poster

Poster Set-up

Each poster entrant will be provided one easel, one 30" x 40" foam board and push pins. Poster set-up takes place on Wednesday, June 13 between 3:00 and 5:00 pm. Entrants are responsible for setting up and taking down their only posters.
