Concurrent Session - Track B
Creating a technology-intensive learning environment
As part of this year’s National Assembly, the technology track will explore the role of information technology and digital resources in reform efforts. When it comes to technology, it is clear that being a change agent is not a solo act – few changes can be done in our own classrooms and labs without the aid of technicians, network specialists, education technologists, and others. In these sessions we will explore case studies (what works and what doesn’t) for integrating technology into teaching and learning. A number of these cases studies will be drawn directly from the headlines of today or from the experiences of F21 members representing a variety of institutional types. Join the discussion and explore technology challenges from different perspectives, how to be more effective in bringing these tools to our students, and how to assess the results of such activities.
