International experience coupled with the formal coursework and undergraduate research provides abundant and powerful learning opportunities for students. Student see first hand that knowledge has an application and that the application must be tailored to the situation. Several types of programs to link undergraduate coursework, research, and international experience will be described. Participants will be asked to work on a plan for development (or enhancement) of such a program tailored to the circumstances specific to their institution.
