Changes are often made in science curricula and facilities without ever planning strategies to assess the success of the changes. Important outcomes of these changes would be improved student learning and satisfaction, and faculty productivity and participation.


  • Teaching "community of practice" about teaching in the New England States.
    Web-based program = tapped-in, already exists and allows communication with other teachers = virtual meeting place

  • Use of this network to collaborate on assessment strategies

  • Bring outside experts, one per college, to help deliver message college-wide.
