Volume IV: What works, what matters, what lasts
Freeman A. Hrabowski, III
June 28, 2006
Freeman Hrabowski led off the 2005 – 2006 seminar series with a compelling analysis of what works at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, in building a research-rich learning environment. In his remarks, he spoke about the importance of top-down and bottom-up leadership, of getting all the voices to the table, and of having a driving vision of how their institution could make a difference in the lives of their students.
From the PKAL archives, further information about UMBC is also presented.
