- The student zone is at the center of the plan to encourage casual interactions as people bump into each other on their way from offices and laboratories. Because the student zone is free of walls, a feeling of community is created that is unusual and attractive. All three floors are open to the space: biologists, chemists, computer scientists, mathematicians and others can meet and interact in this central area.
