About PKAL Regional Networks

This gathering is part of a national PKAL initiative to form regional networks. In an era when communications must engage across disciplines time for greeting, meeting, and eating is of increasing value.

PKAL Portland Regional Gathering

The purpose of this regional gathering was to establish a Portland Network of STEM leaders, recognizing the need to:

  • meet with colleagues across boundaries of discipline and institutional type and spheres of responsibility
  • keep abreast of best practices and lessons learned in the process of strengthening student learning in STEM fields.

The dinner gathering began at 6:00 pm and was sponsored by SRG Partnership, Inc. The event was held in the Templeton Campus Center in the Stamm Dining Room on the top floor.
