10 x 10 Richmond: Linking Insights About How People Learn to Curricular Reform

This fall the University of Richmond will be hosting one of the PKAL 10x10 Conferences. The title of this conference to be held between October 30th and November 1, 2003 is Linking Insights about How People Learn to Curricular Reform. The primary purposes of the conference is to bring research on learning to the attention of STEM faculty and to give them opportunities to develop plans to incorporate the results of this research into their teaching. A secondary purpose of this conference is to bring faculty from STEM disciplines together with faculty whose primary research focus is on learning and pedagogy, and to begin to build a stronger community between these groups of faculty.
